How to Not CARE! | Learn to Live in the moment |

Live It Up 'Habit'

Caring too much can lead to exhaustion, and too much exhaustion might lead to no purpose in life. Let me elaborate more, caring here, I don’t mean: you care about people you love or the responsibilities you have in your daily life like examinations, working, and stuff like that. What I mean is the FUTURE, THE UNKNOWN. Something that you can’t predict.

The reason I think this post is important for you is because I see many people are thinking about their future so much to the point that they forget the presence itself. That’s dangerous since nothing is more important than right now. Why?

If you are engaging in your life at the moment properly, it’s likely that in the future when you look back at the past, you won’t regret too many things. Always, the future is the result of the presence. If you put yourself in order in the presence, you don’t have to care about the future at all.

When I walked into a university, I saw many students, my friends, and sadly myself thinking about the future that we have no idea of what is going to happen. That puts me into thinking of why we do that. To think deeply, I have come up with a few interesting things.

People care about the future too much because they don’t enjoy the present. So, they are afraid that it will continue in the next five or six years. Sadly, it adds more burden to our chest. We hate our presence in the hope of the future will be better for us.

Then, it makes me think hard again.

How about we do something right now that we mostly enjoy?

How about we pause for a moment and try to do something for ourselves?

How about we stop caring about the future but ourselves?

How about we care about the person we look at in the mirror every day instead?

These questions awaken my inner voice to speak up.

My inner voice says that if I could stop caring too much for the future, I will enjoy my presence more, engaging in my life more in a manner that makes me happy at the moment, and having a meaningful time at the moment but not in the future because the future is the unknown. We can’t be sure about it because who knows tomorrow might not be coming.

Also, tomorrow might bring you more suffering, so why don’t we use this moment to enjoy and do something meaningful as much as possible so that we don’t have to look back to four to five years in the past and regret what we have done badly or haven’t done at all because of the terrifying feeling of being judged and not having the good future?

That’s what I have learned, and I WANT to share. Hopefully, you can take some of this experience profoundly and find yourself at the moment and engage in everything you should have for a long time ago.

JUST DON’T GIVE UP!

That’s all for today.
